Location: United States, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in pediatric or developmental settings. Minimum 1-2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in pediatric or developmental settings. Familiarity with parent-mediated or play-based interventions (e.g., PLAY Project preferred)
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
- Licensure/Certification:
- National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must have or obtain certification in P.L.A.Y. Project (Play and Language for Autistic Youngsters) within 6 months of hire
- Current, unrestricted license to practice Occupational Therapy in any U.S. state or territory
- Conduct developmental evaluations and assessments for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Administer standardized tools such as FEAS, CARS, Greenspan Growth Chart, and REEL
- Create individualized occupational therapy intervention plans and document child progress
- Provide parent coaching and deliver treatment using the PLAY Project methodology
- Address deficits in motor, cognitive, social, and emotional functioning using therapeutic activities and adaptive tools
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers
- Communicate findings and recommendations in written reports and video-based feedback
- Travel monthly for TDY to remote MTF sites to support PLAY service implementation
- Participating in peer reviews, team meetings, and ongoing clinical training

- Hours of Performance: Duty hours will vary by position and location; however, typical duty hours are scheduled between 0730 -1630, Monday through Friday. Hours are subject to change and may include nights and weekends (Variable shifts between 0730-1900 up to 2x/week); Monthly TDY travel (1 week)
